Morales the Favorite in Guatemalan Run-Off Elections

Comedian turned conservative politician Jimmy Morales is expected to win Sunday's presidential run-off elections in Guatemala. He is running against former first Lady Sandra Torres. While it is not likely that supporters of the third candidate in first-round voting, Manuel Baldizon, will support Morales, what is not clear is how voters who did not participate in the September 6 elections will cast their ballots. To ensure safe elections, more than 60,000 police and military personnel will be mobilized to prevent violence the day of the vote. Gerardo Torres reports from Central America. teleSUR
