Chilean students marched once again in Santiago on Friday, calling for increased teacher pay, free university education and the placement of locally managed public schools under national jurisdiction. The Confederation of Chilean Students, which organized the march, said that around 60,000 people came out for the protest, which began peacefully. Later in the day, clashes broke out as police fired water cannons and teargas to try to disperse the students. teleSUR
