Oh Deer… Burger! - Food Feeder

Venison burgers are actually pretty tame compared to the crazy stuff we usually talk about, but it is a bit unusual to get them at a burger chain.

Becker’s, a burger chain in Japan, is offering deer burgers for a limited time. The’ll have them up until November 30, but they are only making 15,000, so if the demand is high enough they won’t even last that long. If you’re in Japan and craving a burger but don’t want one of those standard cow beef burgers you can try to find a Becker’s to get your venison burger fix.

We can’t comment on the taste but what we know is the burgers are spiked with abalone mushrooms, and topped with whole grain mustard, red wine venison sauce, and served on a yeast bun that’s been baked on site. That’s far more gourmet than food we get here in the states.
