US Won't Seek Extradition of FARC Members

The United States government confirmed that following the signing of a definitive Colombian peace agreement, it would not seek extradition of members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. Last month a bill was submitted to the Colombian congress to prevent extradition of FARC members to the United States. Nearly every FARC leader is wanted on charges of drug trafficking, accusations denied by the rebels. teleSUR
