Man Mistakes Plane Door For Restroom, Gets Banned From Airline

A man was on a KLM flight when he mistook a plane exit door for one leading to a restroom. He was fined, detained, and banned from the airline.

Air travel can be long, tedious, and at times, even disorienting.
James Gray of Scotland was 30,000 feet in the sky on a KLM flight to Amsterdam when he got a bit confused. 
He says he approached what he thought was the door to the restroom, but when he touched the handle, he quickly realized his mistake.
The hinged barrier was actually one of the plane’s exit portals. 

Thankfully for all on board, airline personnel reached him in time.
