Brazil to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 47%

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, in her address to the UN Sustainable Development Conference, pledged that the country would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 47% by 2030. She noted that Brazil's target was higher than that of most developed nations and indicated that the country would not need external support to achieve it.
