140 g flour
5 eggs
240 ml corn oil
25 g baking powder
100 g coconut shaving
300 ml orange juice
100 g pistachios

For syrup:
100 ml water
100 ml orange juice
150 g sugar

Preparation:

Roast pistachios in the oven.
Whisk eggs with corn oil and orange juice.
Add the coconut shavings and semolina, stir well.
Sift flour with baking powder and add to the cake batter, stir until smooth and well-combined.
Chop the pistachios and add them to the batter.
Scoop the batter into the prepared pan, dividing evenly between the wells, filling them by half.
Sprinkle with chopped pistachios over each manna-cake.
Bake in a preheated to180° C oven for 20-25 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the syrup: in the large saucepan heat the water with orange juice. Add sugar and cook until the sugar has dissolved, then set aside.
Pour the orange syrup over the manna-cakes to soak them. Set aside to cool and soak the syrup.
