Plane dumps retardant over California fire

Dramatic footage has emerged from California, US of emergency services trying to tackle the ongoing wildfires in the north of the state.

The videos show firefighting aircraft dropping retardant onto the area while smoke and flames fill the air.

The footage was captured over the weekend.
