Short film made for a fruit producer in La Rioja. falconrioja.com/ We wanted to show the process of irrigation of his pear orchards. A process that is done every ten days or depending on the weather conditions some times more. The producers in this area rely on the water from the river Ebro which is canalized and transported sometimes using pump systems other times only thru gravity. Irrigation of pear fields using this method is a full day process as it requires inundating the orchard and once the producer judges his trees have received enough water the orchard is drained. What I took back from this experience is the next client will have to pay me more to compensate for the mosquito bites suffered during the early morning shootings...;-)
