Ahmedabad: Claiming that ayurvedic products can increase the platelet count in dengue patients faster than allopathic medicines, yoga guru Ramdev advocated the use of medicines like 'giloy' and 'aloe vera' to counter the mosquito-borne disease. The yoga guru was speaking at a press conference on treatment of dengue through Ayurveda where products from his firm Patanjali Ayurveda were laid out in front of him.
