Venezuela: Supporters Rally to Jailed Rightist Leader

Supporters of jailed far-right Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez rallied in Caracas on Friday to protest his 14 year prison sentence. Lopez is accused of having instigated the violence that led to 43 deaths in February 2014 protests. Grass roots movements, however, hailed the court ruling, as they view Lopez as a dangerous and violent conspirator. Lopez's lawyers plan to appeal the sentence. teleSUR
