Villager fires self-made mortar cannon to resist demolition

A bizarre video has emerged from China of a villager using a self-made mortar to defend his house against a demolition team.
In the footage, captured by a witness in Shandong Province last week, a man in white can be seen setting up a mortar and firing dozens of bombs towards two excavators.
According to the filmer Mr Sun, the villager and the developer failed to reach an agreement on compensation which led to the conflict. No injuries were reported.
