Here?s a dude and a label you don?t know just yet, so allow us to make a formal introduction for the pair. Decka is a young Bristolian producer-DJ; SPE:C is a new Berlin imprint. All acquainted, all familiar? Good stuff.
?002? is a slab of stomping, heavyweight techno that belies Decka?s relatively fresh face. Taking cues from all the right people ? Randomer, Matrixxman, early Objekt ? and shot through with a particular kind of 4am-in-a-barebrick-tunnel rave SFX (the decidedly Wachowskian green cover art says it all really), it?s a serious statement of intent.
