Thousands gathered at Padang Timur near Amcorp Mall in PJ for the Suara Rakyat 505 rally despite warnings from police and the Home Ministry. The rally was to protest against alleged electoral fraud and misconduct in the recent general election and key speakers included Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, Bersih's Ambiga Sreenevasan, Tian Chua and ABU's Haris Ibrahim.
