Mumbai: Sources in the Mantralaya and the environment ministry have told that Minister Ramdas Kadam has completely set aside all due procedure and has been running the department on his own terms. He has declared that he will take all the decisions of his department. The environment department has three key committees. Traditionally these committees pick proposals on a chronological order and post them on the government website for transparency reasons, but Kadam has decided that he would pick the agenda for these meetings. Even this decision followed criticism that he had completely stopped the functioning of the three committees.
