'Yemen is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe'

Yemen is racked by a brutal war, with a Saudi-led coalition - supporting ousted President Hadi - fighting against Houthi rebels. Cédric Schweizer, who was until recently the head of International Committee of the Red Cross in Yemen, says the country is "on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe".
Cédric Schweizer says that due to a lack of food and access to proper medical treatment, millions of people are at risk. “The catastrophe is very close and we need decisions to be taken now”, he warns.
