United States: Suspect in Charleston Murders Captured

Police have captured a suspect in the deaths of nine black people who were gunned down while worshipping at a church in Charleston. The detainee is 21-year-old Dylan Roof, an apparent supporter of apartheid, judging by the white supremacist patches on his jacket. He was taken into custody and is being questioned by FBI agents and local police. Roof received a firearm from his father as a birthday gift although it is unclear whether the weapon used for the massacre was the aforementioned. Bianca Perez reports from Washington DC for teleSUR.
