One-Time Youngest Death Row Inmate Paula Cooper Commits Suicide

Paula Cooper, who was at one time the nation’s youngest death row inmate, has died at the age of 45.

Paula Cooper,who at one time was the nation’s youngest death row inmate, has died at the age of 45. 
 Police report her body was found on Tuesday morning near an office building in Indianapolis, and that she had succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. 
On Wednesday the Marion County coroner’s office declared the death was a suicide.
Cooper’s life was both a tumultuous and, for a time, highly publicized one.
