Truckloads of Humanitarian Aid Enter Gaza

Hundreds of trucks packed with food and humanitarian aid entered the Palestinian enclave of Gaza on Tuesday. The goods will be distributed to families in need and to those affected by Israel’s war on Gaza last year. Around 630 truckloads of aid are scheduled to enter Gaza today. Around 150 of them carry materials that will be used by the private sector. Hamas is calling on international solidarity groups to pressure Israel to keep the border open indefinitely instead of keeping it closed for almost four days at a time, as is now the case. Also in Gaza, civil servants hired by the former Hanas government went out on strike today, protesting not having been paid for six months. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
