Speed cameras destroyed by angry Taiwanese truck driver with road rage

Two broken speed cameras were spotted on highways in the southern Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung.
An increase in accidents had prompted local officials to place speed cameras at a downhill location to decrease the number of accidents.
Wang Rui-lin (王瑞麟) wasn’t happy with this.
Wang sped past a speed camera two days ago in his truck while carrying an excavator.
Wang then used the excavator to push the camera back before knocking it off its post. The camera itself was more than US$30,000.
Wang was then caught speeding by another speed camera and so he did the same thing again. That camera was also worth more than US$30,000.
Police used surveillance footage to find Wang’s truck, where the missing cameras were also found.
