Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent Scott Perala is a lucky man, as recently released chestcam footage of an undercover drug deal shows.

The video, shot in 2010 in Cocoa, Florida, shows Perala jump into the backseat of suspects Jeremy Williams and Beaver Duncan car.

The suspects then throw Perala a bag of Oxycodone pills, and he starts to count them when they whip out an AK-47 and point it in his face.

The agent then begs the men to let him go as they demand he hand over the $2,000 he had brought with him to purchase the drugs.

Perala hops out of the car as the suspects fire a shot at him. He then runs behind his vehicle and fires several rounds at them as they drive away.

The duo was later apprehended by Perala’s back up after they hid behind a nearby daycare center following a chase.

Williams, Duncan and a third person were eventually charged and sentenced to life in prison.
