Uruguay: Broad Front Wins Montevideo Race

Uruguayans went the polls on Sunday to elect governors in the country's 19 states. In Montevideo, home to half of Uruguay's population, the ruling left-wing Broad Front (FA) won the country's capital, electing Daniel Martinez as mayor. The FA is expected to win the most important states, electing governors in at least five of the 19. Voter participation was 85%. teleSUR
