Auto Shanghai: Chinese models protest car show ban dressed as homeless - TomoNews
  • 9 years ago
Chinese models protested a ban against them working at the Auto Shanghai Show — by dressing up as homeless people.

In images from Weibo, models can be seen wearing torn dresses and holding signs saying "we have to beg for our dinner now."

Models were banned from Auto Shanghai by organizers in a bid to focus attention back on cars.

According to the Shanghaiist, Chinese netizens wrote in support of the models, admitting they were very attractive. Others suggested that the focus should be on the car show and not models.
