Team GB Snowboarder Jonny Chan EYOWF

Jonny is from the Isle of Man and has spent the majority of his holidays snowboarding in the Alpes and Rockies. He has recently started competing. In his first event in Chapelco, Argentina last September he finished a creditable 21st. Last season at the British Championships his qualifying time was good enough to rank him 3rd in the senior men's race and win his age group.
Future goals are to compete full time on the FIS World Cup tour and represent Great Britain at the Olympic Winter Games.
The video was produced at a press event at Heathrow airport, to 'send off' the young athletes ahead of the games. The video was created by two young producers, Maeen and Gemma from The Reporters' Academy, a youth production company run by young people , based in Trafford.
