Nepal: Protests Against Gov’t Handling of Quake

Over a million children are in need of help after last Saturday’s earthquake in Nepal. Many are exposed to the elements and the spread of disease even as aid agencies struggle to deliver assistance in some areas. Protesters gathered outside Parliament to accuse the government’s lack of response to the disaster that has killed over 5,000 people and adversely affected 8 million. Thousands of people are still sleeping out in the open in makeshift tents for the fourth night since the country’s worst quake in over 80 years. teleSUR
