Argentina Calls for Stronger Bilateral Cooperation with Russia

Argentine President Cristina Fernandez highlighted the economic growth of her own country and pushed for an economic partnership with Russia on her two-day visit to Moscow. At a forum attended by Argentine and Russian business leaders, she invited Russia to expand its agricultural investments in Argentina. She also called for redefining the role of the State, noting that producers, consumers and industry must all be considered when speaking of the market.
