15,000 civilians still trapped in Palestinian refugee camp

About 15,000 civilians are still trapped in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria. Thirty people have been killed as of the Islamic State attack on the camp. Palestinian and Syrian government officials have developed a plan to confront the attacks, involving evacuation of civilians and military action against the Islamic State group. Yarmouk is the largest Palestinian refugee camp in the world and an attack on it is seen by many as an attack against the Palestinian cause, and especially their right to return to their homeland.
