Three people, including a judge, have reportedly been killed in a shooting at a courthouse in Milan.

A man opened fire inside the Palace of Justice building, according to emergency services and a court official.

Police said the gunman was attending a bankruptcy hearing.

The attacker was at large, but Italian Interior Minister Angelino Alfano has said on Twitter that he has now been detained.
