Authorities in the U.S. state of Missouri have made an arrest... in last week's shooting in Ferguson... which left two police officers hit and wounded.
Twenty-year-old Jeffrey Williams was arrested and charged on Saturday, local time, with two counts of first-degree assault, among others.
St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch said... Williams had fired the shots from a moving vehicle... outside the Ferguson police headquarters... where protesters were gathered.
Authorities will now try to determine the *motive behind the shooting... as Williams... who was on probation... claimed his target was not the officers... but someone in the crowd... with whom he had a dispute.
