The stakes are high and expectations low for what's being dubbed a last-chance sumit to avoid total war in Ukraine. The leaders of France, Germany, Ukraine and Russia met in Minsk on Wednesday as heavy fighting continues unabated in several towns and cities near the Russian border. We look at the plans on offer to prevent the partition of a country whose president's raised the stakes by warning of martial law should the talks fail.
