Police in Denver recently discovered a man who was stuck behind a wall inside a restaurant. It all started on Tuesday night when officers responded to the business called Yard House.

Cops received reports about an individual who might have fallen from the ceiling. Initially cops and firefighters couldn’t locate anyone, but they later spotted the male walking though scaffolding above Yard House.

They lost sight of the man, who had fallen in an area where the water pipes are housed. One of the pipes broke, which caused severe flooding in the restaurant and he was left trapped behind the wall.

Police searched the ceiling area and found evidence indicating the male had been squatting in the area above the tiles for quite some time. About 3 and a half hours after they arrived at the restaurant, officers heard moans and finally pinpointed his location behind a wall near the front door.

The man, who was only wearing pants, had fallen about 20 feet and fire officials were forced to cut him out of the wall.

He was transported to the hospital for his injuries and is now facing charges for the damages to the restaurant.
