Police in Florida believe there may be serial thieves targeting businesses in Broward County. Over the past few months, similar crimes have unfolded in the area, where two armed crooks enter a business and force employees to disrobe.

The most recent robbery occurred at the Rite Way Food Market in Pompano Beach on November 9th. One of the suspects jumped over the counter and pinned the clerk to the floor.

The second robber locked the front door and told a customer to lie facedown. He then dragged the man to the back of the store.

At least six comparable robberies have occurred since the month of September. In all of the crimes, the victims were forced to remove their clothes.

Officials from the Broward Sheriff’s Office described one of the robbers as a male who stands roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall and wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers and camouflage pants during the latest incident.

The other has a height of about 5 feet 7 inches and was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with a dark gray shirt on top of it. Both are thought to be in their early to mid 20s.
