Man Stabbed At Baby Shower Allegedly Plows Into Pedestrians

A 20-year-old man in New York City is being accused of murder after his vehicle jumped over a curb and crashed into three people. One male was killed and two women were left critically injured after the suspect, identified as Kevin Weekes, plowed his Nissan Altima into the victims following a violent altercation at a baby shower.

One male was killed and two women were left injured after the suspect, identified as Kevin Weekes, plowed his Nissan Altima into the victims following an alleged violent altercation at a baby shower.
Weekes had been stabbed in the abdomen during the fight and later got into his vehicle and crashed into a crowd of people before fleeing the scene on foot.
According to witnesses, it appeared as though Weekes plowed into the group intentionally. The fatal incident occurred on Saturday near a hall, where the baby shower was held.
When police arrived they found one of the victims, 20-year old Kevin Lewis, pinned underneath the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers caught up with Weekes a short time later and arrested him. Witnesses say that Lewis was not involved in the fight that broke out before the crash.
Weekes has been charged with 3 counts of assault, 3 counts of reckless endangerment and murder.
