Merkel hails 25 years since Berlin Wall fell

Celebrations took place at the Brandenburg Gate where the wall once ran exactly 25 years ago.
As part of the festivities, balloons lined a 15 km path through Berlin.
Earlier on Sunday, Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, remembered the East Germans who died trying to flee to West Berlin before the wall came down.
