Mumbai: After the race for plum portfolios among the new cabinet members comes the scramble for the best chambers and bungalows. The maximum demand is for the office and house that was allotted to senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar, who was the last deputy chief minister in the Congress-NCP government. Since there is no clarity on the deputy CM's post in the BJP government, most senior cabinet ministers at the moment are angling for the plush spaces.
