A military convoy of Iraqi Kurdish fighters carrying heavy artillery received a heroe's welcome by fellow Kurds as they passed through south-eastern Turkey and Syria en route to Kobani, where they have finally arrived to help their Syrian compatriots who have been engaged in a fierce battle against Islamic State (IS) militants for over a month. teleSUR
