Pistorius awaits sentencing

South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been convicted of culpable homicide after shooting dead his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in February 2013. He was released on bail after the verdict was given in September, ahead of what could be a stiff prison term. Sentencing is due to begin on 13 October, 2014.VIDEOGRAPHIC
