Pistorius arrives in court for sentencing

Olympic and Paralympic runner Oscar Pistorius arrived in court Tuesday where a judge is expected to sentence him after he was convicted last month of "culpable homicide" - South Africa's equivalent of manslaughter.

Pistorius was convicted for shooting dead his girlfriend, 29-year-old law graduate and model Reeva Steenkamp, at his home in Pretoria in February 2013.

The case is one of the most sensational murder trials in South Africa's history - and the decision could fuel controversy over the state of the country's justice system.
