Maharashtra Assembly Polls: Nitin Gadkari in row over bunch of remarks - Tv9 Gujarati

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has stoked a controversy by allegedly asking voters at a public meeting in poll-bound Maharashtra to accept bribes, prompting the Election Commission to issue him a show cause notice. He also courted a controversy asking journalists to "keep the packages (money) they get during the election season". "In the next 10-12 days, you journalists will have 'Laxmi darshan'," said Gadkari. Likewise, he made other controversial remarks as well due to which he is facing jibes.
