Sweden looks set to vote for change as country goes to the polls

Polls are open in Sweden as the country votes in a general election.

Indications suggest that Sweden looks set to revert to the centre-left opposition after eight years of centre-right government led by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt

Swedes are growing concerned about unemployment and the increasing gap between rich and poor.

Neither mainstream party is likely to win an outright majority, but both say they will refuse to go into coalition with the far-right anti-immigration Sweden democrats.
