The father of Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has died in Singapore and police said on Friday (September 12) they were investigating his "unnatural death" - a term in Singapore that often refers to falls or other accidents.
Tony Kidman, a clinic psychologist at the University of Technology, Sydney, was visiting the movie star's sister who lives in Singapore, according to media reports.
Police said they were informed that a man in his 80s was pronounced dead in hospital and offered few details other than to say they are conducting an investigation.
