Italy rescues thousands more migrants

Italian authorities say they have rescued nearly 2,000 migrants over the past three days. The rescue took place in various parts of the Strait of Sicily, sometimes also just 20 miles away from the Libyan coast. It is believed hundreds of men, women and children have been at sea for the last ten days.
