Ganpati Visarjan Civic body on its toes with tight security in Surat - Tv9 Gujarati

Surat: After the celebration of Ganeshotsav's 10 days, now, people will participate in Ganpati immersion procession when idols will be immersed. With festivities, civic body with tightest security is on its toes. In order to curb environment issues upto an extent, authorities have made an artificial pond for immersion of POP idols of Lord Ganesh. 800 CCTV cameras have been set up and Fire Brigade team of 150 will remain at various spots.
