An armed gang has attacked Haiti’s main prison, releasing an unknown number of the jail’s 899 inmates.
Two police officers were hit by bullets in the assault, whose main target appears to have been Clifford Brandt, a businessman who has been facing charges since 2012 of kidnapping two children.
