Ukraine: Black boxes recovered from downed Malaysian airliner

Rescue workers at the scene of a Malaysian airliner that went down over the Donetsk region of Ukraine have recovered the second flight recorder.
The passenger jet was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed in Eastern Ukraine on Thursday afternoon.
Most of the passengers were Dutch, travelling with dozens of Malaysians, almost 30 Australians and other nationalities.
The Australian government said some of the passengers on the plane were heading to a major international AIDS conference in Melbourne.
The plane had been travelling over a war-torn area of the east of the country. It was due to enter Russian airspace when it lost contact and came down close to the Russian border.
Pro-Russian separatists have agreed to assist in the crash investigation, ensuring safe access to international experts.
