295 dead after Malaysian airlane crashes in Ukraine

A Malaysian airplane has crashed in eastern Ukraine, killing all 295 people aboard.

A Ukrainian interior ministry official was quoted saying the plane was shot down by militants.

Separatists are pointing the finger at Ukrainian government forces.

The Boeing 777 came down near the rebel stronghold of Donetsk.

The plane was heading from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
