Its Lazy Luziana Weekends again:
Cleoma Breaux, the mother of Cajun music (guitar) and her husband, accordionist Joe Falcon perform Aimer et Perdre (Loving and Losing) recorded in New Orleans on the Decca label in 1928. The vocals on this record are Joe Falcon.
The pictures and vids are of the Sunshine Bridge over the Mississippi near Donaldsonville and photos of St. Francisville, home of the gorgeous Rosedown Plantation & Oakley House; Vacherie, location of Oak Alley Plantation and Laura Plantation; New Orleans; and Bayou Sara ghost town on the Mississippi.
