Israel hits Gaza after rocket attack

Craters in the sand where Israeli planes bombed Gaza during the night.
The Israeli military says it was targeting eight Palestinian militant sites.
Palestinian medics said two civilians near one of the targets were wounded.
Witnesses described the scene.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) OWNER OF CHICKEN FARM, ABBAS KHALAF, SAYING:
"Suddenly, we were sitting here, and we saw two rockets fall here. We started to run, and a man who was asleep got injured. We ran, but now I look to the business, and to the house, everything is destroyed."
Palestinians have launched several rocket attacks from Gaza into Israeli territory in the past two weeks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he holds the Palestinian Authority responsible.
