As the name implies, the two families apparently have a quite troubled relationship, one that Klein says if fueled by jealousy , may make for tumultuous 2016 presidential campaign.
Michelle Obama, according to Klein, often refers to Hilary Clinton as the ‘Hildebeest’ in closed quarters.
Barack Obama and Bill Clinton have shown their animosity towards one another quite a bit more directly.
Among their unpleasant meet-ups was a golf outing in 2012.
Obama begrudgingly contacted Bill Clinton to join him for a round of golf as a means of garnering his support.
Once out on the course Clinton was quick to mention that his tenure in the White House was one of prosperity, while Obama has been slow to dig the country out of its dire state.
Years later, when Bill Clinton was talking about Hilary’s run in 2016, Obama blurted out, “You know, Michelle would make a great presidential candidate, too.”
Michelle has since said she’s warming up to the idea of making a Senate run.
