During day two of the White Buffalo Tarpon Tournament off Anna Maria Island, Florida, the Caragiulos Restaurant team had just hooked a big tarpon when a huge shadow cruised under their boat. The shadow turned out to be a 12’ Hammerhead shark looking for some lunch. The crew free spooled the fish so it could flee for about 3/4 of a mile in order to lose the shark, but unfortunately for them and their competition dreams, the shark had other plans.
